Yves Saint Laurent Ombre 5 Lumières Colour Harmony for Eyes is a new interpretation of the Yves Saint Laurent palette in a monochrome version. The special texture can be 'modelled' to suit the desired look. Four matte, satiny or iridescent shades plus a highlighter coordinate around a single theme

Directions for use: Prepare the eye area by highlighting with Touche Éclat, then apply the darkest shade close to the upper lash line to sculpt the look. Superimpose the light shades on the mobile eyelid extending them towards the temple. Add a final touch of radiance with the highlighter.

I fell in love with this midnight palette from YSL. Palette comes in a gold hard case, with 5 colors, mirror and 2 applicators. It was released as a Limited Editon for fall 2011.
I have to admit that quality of this Midnight Garden palette is better than those in the other YSL palette that were release before this one. All colors in the Midnight Garden have shimmer in it, they are with great pigmentation and are easy to blend. They really make a killer combination on your eyes, and this is definitely the best eyeshadow palette I own, and where can I use all colors.
