- Lauryl Betaine: Mild cleansing.
Apply Philip Kingsley Flaky Itchy Scalp Shampoo to your wet hair. Lather well with a gentle kneading of your scalp. Rinse & repeat if necessary. Follow with appropriate conditioner (see related products or the product selector) & Scalp Toner. Use daily to cleanse your scalp & thereafter at regular intervals as required. Suitable for use on colour treated hair.

I have very long hair and quite a bad dry flaky & extremely itchy scalp (verging on Psoriasis). Before using this shampoo, I tried over 20 different brands, but none of them helped. Within 15 minutes of washing my hair, my scalp would feel tight and itchy and flakes would appear even with wet hair.
Then, I discovered this shampoo (I tried the smaller size first). The results were amazing, with 90% improvement after the first wash. I no longer use a steroid cream on my hair line to reduce the visable flaking. Also this shampoo does not harm my long hair.
I forgot to take it on holiday - big mistake! This is well worth the investment!

I love this product! I stocked up and bought a few bottles in case of emergency as this is now the only shampoo I will use!
