The origin of its name lies in the Arabian word yasmin and the Persian word yasaman, both of which take ‘front seat’ in numerous legends of the ancient East; stories like the one about the Chinese riverboats that sailed the river Yangtze and offered rich merchants and mandarins the services of beautiful courtesans who wore jasmine flowers and roses in their hair. Aromatherapists today, following on from the findings of ancient doctors and physicians, believe that the regular use of jasmine essential oil boosts self-confidence and helps one break free from the grip of mild depression. Of course, they do not disregard jasmine’s association with sensuality; where sexual invigoration is required, they dilute the oil in vegetable oil and use it for massages. Really good product!! I will be sure to try this in pomegranate and mango. Although it is a little bit more expensive, it is totally worth it, it's not sticky, it looks nice and the packaging is really pretty, an essential for every makeup purse

Amazing! Bought this one together with Guava, both lovely, moisturising, not at all sticky, lasts a long time without needing to reapply. Great base for lipstick, but has a subtle colour on its own too. Will definitely buy again!

I have sensitive lips and can't use a lot of products out there. They usually cause my lips to get itch, swell and turn red. Even if a product doesn't cause me to itch, swell or turn red, with prolonged use, I eventually find it drying. This is the only product that doesn't react negatively with me. Also, it smells absolutely yummy.

This product is simply amazing. I have used many lip products before, and this really ranks as one of my favorites! It's super creamy on your lips, and totally non-sticky and non-greasy. The colour's perfect as well, and goes with almost everything. It makes lips perfectly smooth for long, and a little bit goes a long way. Although, it smells more like baked cookies, with a really warm homey smell, instead of jasmine. Definitely a repurchase!

This product has a gorgeous texture and feel when I apply it, moisturises for a good few hours before I have to re-apply. The jasmine colour leaves a lovely milky-nude sheen on my lips which is lovely if I wear the lip butter alone, or alters some of my more outspoken lipsticks so that they are not as bold and scary looking.
