Tisserand Aromatherapy

Robert Tisserand was first introduced to aromatherapy by his mother, leading to a passion for the subject that continues to this day. With a vision to bring essential oil based products into everyone's home, Robert started the Aromatic Oil Company in 1974 from his bedroom in a South London house. For 11 years, he hand-bottled the oils, hand-wrote each and every label and packed up the parcels that he would despatch to customers every Saturday morning.

Tisserand Aromatherapy Products Ltd was formed in 1985, allowing Robert to act as an essential oil and formulations consultant, fully utilising his years of experience in this field. The Tisserand product range has expanded enormously since its humble beginnings, with the enhancements of people's well-being remaining as a main commitment.

Tisserand are constantly updating and improving their formulas, sourcing and using new ingredient alternatives that are kind to the skin and where possible, organic - and therefore kinder to the environment.

Tisserand say 'NO' to: synthetic fragrances, SLS/SLES, parabens, animal ingredients and other nasty ingredients such as phthalates, formaldehyde, petrochemicals, propylene glycol, aluminium compounds, triclosan, BHA, methyldibromoglutaronitrile, triethanolamine, DMDM hydantoin, diazolidinyl urea and quaternium-15.
