Enzo Ferrari founded Scuderia Ferrari in 1929 as a sponsor of motorsport events and drivers and manufacturer of race cars. Initially, Ferrari only worked with Alfa Romeo, supplying them and other competitors with race cars. In 1947 the production of street-legal vehicles began and the company changed their name to Ferrari S.p.A.
Today, Ferrari is known as one of the big names and sponsors of Formula One and as a lifestyle brand offering luxury cars. The Ferrari logo is world-famous.
In 1999, Ferrari made their first steps in a new direction and launched their first fragrance: Ferrari Black. The oriental composition with sweet notes was an immediate commercial success. Whilst Ferrari’s cars are financially out of reach for most people, the fragrance gives the wearer the feeling of owning a piece of merchandise from this world-famous and exclusive luxury brand.
Further Ferrari scents have been released since Ferrari Black and were made in collaboration with perfumers Bernard Ellena, Alberto Morillas and Karine Dubreuil.
Ferrari fragrances are a symbol of passion, elegance, charm and prestige: just as the Ferrari values.
