YSL Volume Effect Mascara – it’s the best I’ve tried.
Millie Mackintosh Lashes – No one was doing natural looking lashes and I wanted something that my mum could wear, as could all those girls who are scared of that big lash look. Putting them on makes me look like me, only better. Named after areas of London, Mayfair are great for every day and I love wearing Shoreditch or Soho for the Red Carpet.
L’Oréal eye liners are so good for getting that quick gorgeous eye.
Benefit You Rebel SPF15 tinted moisturiser I have men come up to me in the street asking (on behalf of their girlfriends) – what I use on my skin. This evens out my skin tone, plus I can use it without a mirror – it’s my go-to must have.
At Christmas Stephen and I were on holiday and neither of us were happy with our bodies so we decided to go on this healthy eating plan but we both got that detox ‘hangover’, and it nearly ruined our holiday. So for the wedding I’m doing a proper, sensible good from the inside out plan, working with my friend Maddy . For me it’s not about losing weight but shifting that bit of puff, those few inches of bloat.
She’s an amazing nutritionist and she’s put us on this great programme. It’s no sugar, as it’s so ageing for the skin and body, but you can have sweet treats like her incredible sugar-free brownies. I have 1 ½ cheat days a week when I have a roast, cooked breakfast and my favourite – clams and pasta, it’s my weakness.
Mix up frozen berries with chia seed, coconut water and a vitamin and protein powder.
For a sweet hit blend milk, raspberries and raw cacao.
Face massage is one of the most important anti-ageing things – if you want a good skin then get into it.
Face oil, especially at night – I love those from Aromatherapy Associates .
Elemental Herbology , I love these products for keeping skin healthy.
I do like St Tropez, and mid-week will slap on some Garnier’s Summerbody Lotion to top up the colour. I’m going for a less tanned look just now as it can take a lot of effort and maintenance.
Blow dry it upside down, then smooth out with a round brush and finally using a big barrelled tong curl random sections – but do make sure all are “twizzled outwards”. Then finish with a bit of spray.
I was bullied at school as I had bad acne; I used to pretend to be sick and once I didn’t go in to school for three days. It was hormonal, and over time I realised that I had to treat my skin gently, not so aggressively. Now I keep it clean and treat it carefully and it’s much better, much calmer but I still get the odd breakout. Using lavender oil to dab on keeps the bacteria away, and I steer away from anything heavy or too active.
We do our own make-up for Made in Chelsea. For the Red Carpet I’ll line my eyes, top and bottom, right in by the lashes with a kohl pencil, black, brown or even navy looks great. Using a neutral eye base first helps to hold the pigment, I then use a small smudge brush to soften the line, smudge it into the lashes but don’t be too neat. Then use a dark brown or aubergine shimmery powder and press it over the kohl – I like to layer purple over black kohl or two shades of brown. Finish with mascara and then false lashes.
Chloé Eau De Parfum – never put perfume on your chest, it ages the skin. I spray it behind my knees or in the air and walk through it.
