The Queen of cool reveals her beauty essentials, festival fashion secrets and how she loves Jerry Hall...
If I had to describe myself in three words I’d say I’m loyal, easily distracted and I like to have a laugh. Laughing is so important, so is having fun – you should never take yourself too seriously.
Having a tan gives you that healthy glow and I always feel good to go after I’ve had one. I first discovered St Tropez about 15 years ago when I went to Ibiza and didn’t want to be the only white person on the beach!
I always have a lip stain which you can also put on your cheeks, an eye liner pencil and lash curlers.
For my hair I use a bit of salt spray to create that kind of tousled look.
Try Kérastase Spray à Porter .
If I wake up in the morning and look tired and puffy, I fill a sink with ice and cucumber and submerge my face. It tightens everything and makes you feel and look instantly awake – it really works.
We love Caudalie Grape Water which instantly refreshes skin - we keep ours chilled in the fridge.

I haven’t really thought about what I’m going to wear to the festivals this year. But you know; the usual little hot pants and wellies and a heel if I can get away with it. My festival beauty look is always pretty natural, never too much make-up as I prefer to keep it simple.
I’m into that glamorous Studio 54 Jerry Hall era. I love that 70’s girl who is sexy; she had the hair, the lipstick and the all-round glamour. They were ready for anything and most importantly a good time! I love old Hollywood stars like Veronica Lake and am also inspired by David Bowie.
If I’m going on holiday I do bum exercises and Pilates before I get there. I love swimming in the sea and always use SPF.
I like St Tropez’s commitment-free Wash-Off Tan for a night out and the Bronzing Mousse for more of a permanent even colour if I’m doing a shoot. When you look in the mirror you feel more confident and healthier with a tan. Sometimes I feel terrible but look great!
Scrub before you apply fake tan to make sure it’s even and always apply it with a mitt for no steaks.
I love everything about summer and can’t wait for it to come. I love hanging out in my garden and not having to put layers and layers of clothes on.
My daughter Lila has lip balms by her bed and she puts them on before going to sleep. She also likes a lip stain which she dabs on for natural colour. No lipstick - she isn’t ready for that yet. All of my clothes go into storage, ready for her.
